Morning Meeting
We start each day together at morning meeting on the carpet. There are many positive benefits of Morning Meeting. To name a few... we greet each other with smiling faces, share our lives, practice social and academic skills, listen with an empathetic ear, practice cooperation, and have fun! Morning Meeting is where we built our climate of trust.

Another important aspect in our classroom is problem solving! We work together in many ways to solve problems, manage our emotions, practice self-control, and maintain meaningful and respectful friendships. We use many strategies such as: problem solving conferences, class meetings, conflict-resolution, "I" messages, written agreements, and we even role play!
